Accepted Students Events

Your Gardner-Webb experience begins here!

We offer a variety of events during the year to help you get familiar with campus and get excited about being a Runnin’ Bulldog! Check out all of the ways you can visit campus as an accepted student.

Accepted Student Day

We can’t wait to have you on campus in the Fall.  Gardner Webb’s Accepted Student Days are only a taste of all that is to come but you do not want to miss this.  Why? Well, because you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your incoming classmates, there is the possibility you can talk with their roommate, participate in a unique class experience, and so much more. The fall will be here soon but why wait let’s get to making a difference now.

We want you to start to feel a part of this community because we already consider you a part of this family of Runnin’ Bulldogs.  The faculty are ready to start mentoring you and helping you plan your time here on campus.  Go ahead and RSVP for accepted student day if you have not done so already.

Jumpstart

Now that you’re Bulldog bound plan a trip in early summer to campus.  Jumpstart events give you many advantages that will make your Move-In Day as stress-free as possible.  We will send you messages when registration opens. Plus you will get a chance during these events, to talk more in-depth about housing and see inside options for resident housing.

During Jumpstart in the summer you can have any additional conversations about finalizing your scholarships, financial aid, and class schedule during individual appointments with Financial Planning, the Business Office, and Academic Advising.

We can’t wait to have you here. These virtual events maybe just a time to get important questions answered, but they give yourself all the advantages to hit the ground running as you start your college experience at GWU.

Orientation

Get ready to go beyond the ordinary! Orientation is a busy time, full of activities to help you meet new people, explore campus, and learn about ways to get involved in our community. Orientation at GWU is intentionally designed to help you feel at home on campus. Before your first day of class, you will feel like you’ve found your place at GWU!
