Thank you for your interest in an Honors Music Scholarship at Gardner Webb University. Honors Music Scholarships are for undergraduate students majoring in Music and are renewed on an annual basis. Music majors must participate in a major ensemble aligning with their Primary Applied instrument to maintain Honors Music Scholarship requirements. Honors Music Scholarships are based on a formal audition to be completed in the semester prior to formal acceptance in a Music degree at Gardner-Webb.
Honors Music Scholarships are awarded in addition to all of a given student’s other scholarship awards and will be an amount between $500 – $6,000 per year depending on the quality of performance and musicianship in formal audition. Please note that Music majors at Gardner-Webb are not eligible for Non-Music Major Ensemble Scholarships. Music majors are eligible for scholarship via participation in Marching Bulldogs ($1,000/yr) and GWU Pep Band ($250/yr).
