Resources and Support

Student Success

From First Day to Graduation

The mission of the Division of Student Success is to provide resources and support to educate, equip, and empower all students to succeed academically and personally in their unique college journey.

We live out this mission every day in a God-honoring way that promotes an engaging and academically enriching Christ-animated higher education experience for Gardner-Webb students. From advising and tutoring to learning accommodations and academic coaching, we are here to support you as a whole image-bearing person, in and out the classroom.

We advocate for our GWU students through a variety of programs, services, and opportunities that embody our five guiding values: Access, Empowerment, Inclusivity, Partnership, and Growth. These values guide all that we do in our division, and they compel us to meet each student where they are to provide a collaborative network of holistic care. Our job is to help you succeed!

Webbchat with the Division of Student Success (Episode 12)

For all Gardner-Webb faculty and staff, the ultimate goal is to provide opportunities for students to successfully navigate a path towards graduation, and be better prepared for a life of service to God and Humanity, Pro Deo et Humanitate.

On this episode of WebbChat, we welcome representatives from the Division of Student Success. We’ll get an overview of the offices specifically designed to usher students along their academic journey at GWU, and we’ll chat about the resources, benefits and impacts this division provides for all students.

The support I received at Gardner-Webb allowed me to succeed and discover the purpose God has for my life. The many resources across campus helped me understand who God called me to be, and provided encouragement with discovering that call. Gardner-Webb afforded me with countless one-on-one relationships to help navigate life, whether academically, spiritually, emotionally, or physically. I am forever grateful for the difference Gardner-Webb made in my life.
