GWU Marching Bulldogs
The Marching Bulldogs is a corps-style marching band that performs at all Gardner-Webb home football games, select away games, and high school competition exhibitions.
Gardner-Webb’s marching band program began in the 1940s, and includes woodwinds, brass, battery percussion, front ensemble, colorguard, twirlers and dance section.
We would love to hear from you! If you are at all curious about one day joining the Gardner-Webb University Marching Band, join us for a game day experience! Register for a Band Day and get the chance to play alongside our Marching Bulldogs.

You could receive a $250 scholarship for your participation!
The band is open to anyone that plays woodwinds, brass, drumset, mallets, bass, or guitar. The GWU Pep Band has their very own Dance Section! Community members are welcomed!
Marching Band participation scholarships are awarded by the band director in the amount of $1000 and are based on participation in the band.
In order to receive this, students must attend all scheduled performances unless specifically excused by the director.
