marching band

Gardner-Webb’s Department of Music has announced plans to rebuild the University’s marching band program.

The MARCHING BULLDOGS is a corps-style marching band that performs at all Gardner-Webb home football games, select away games, and high school competition exhibitions.

Gardner-Webb’s marching band program began in the 1940s, and its most recent group performed from 2007 to 2017.

Marching Band Scholarships are awarded by the band director in the amount of $1000 and are based on participation in the band.

In order to receive this, students must attend all scheduled performances unless specifically excused by the director.
