I’m a Runnin’ Bulldog
At Gardner-Webb, our first and most important commitment is to YOU. Whether it’s ensuring you a world-class education in the classroom, equipping you with life skills in everyday life, strengthening your faith, or just helping you have fun and enjoy this unique time in your life, we are here for you. We are here to guide you into a rewarding career. We are here to encourage, challenge, and support you. We are here to help you ignite a life of passionate service and leadership.
As a student, this might be one of the most important documents you can reference. Gardner-Webb’s Academic Catalog contains the descriptions, requirements and prerequisites for Traditional Undergraduate, GOAL – The Degree Completion Program, and Graduate programs, in addition to details for completing each of the over 70 majors and minors in 14 areas of study.
The Blackboard 9 Student User Orientation is designed to familiarize the student with the basic skills needed to succeed in an online, hybrid, or web-enhanced course. Topics include a general overview of the Blackboard system, recommended computer and browser specifications, navigating through the online environment, submitting work for evaluation (i.e., tests, assignments), using discussion boards, viewing grades and progress, and communicating with one’s instructors and classmates. The orientation is a combination of documents and tutorials, and is self-paced. At the conclusion is a short test designed to assess one’s overall understanding of Blackboard. Your professor will determine how and if this quiz will be utilized in your course. Students who have previously completed the orientation may proceed directly to the test, if required.
From student-led worship services to on-campus concerts, Gardner-Webb provides a variety of activities that broaden the collegiate experience and balance academics with vibrant student life opportunities. Here is a list of links you will find helpful throughout your time on campus:
