Early Arrival Application:

Students planning to move into their room earlier than their assigned check-in day must complete this form and have the approval of Housing and Residence Education to gain access to the residence halls, suites, and/or apartments. No student is permitted to be in the residence halls, suites, and/or apartments during any portion of break without receiving approval from Housing and Residence Education. Any approved student may be charged $25 a day based on reasoning for early arrival. Log into WebbConnect, click on the Housing Self-Service Portal , open the menu and click applications. Select the early arrival request for Fall 2024.

Students must complete this form, and have it approved by Housing and Residence Education no later than August 14, 2024 at 12 PM (noon). Forms submitted after August 14, 2024 may be subject to a $25.00 late fee. This is a request and not a guarantee for approval to arrival on campus during the Summer Break. Until you receive a confirmation approval email from Housing and Residence Education via your Gardner-Webb University email, you should plan on arriving on campus during the check-in time designated for your specific group.

Residence Hall Linens and Dorm Bedding Program

Specially-sized sheets, blankets and comforters are necessary in some of the residence halls on the Gardner-Webb University campus. These residence halls have extra-long mattresses, which are more than 76 inches long, so that all students will be as comfortable as possible. That’s why Gardner-Webb University has been offering the Residence Hall Linens Program for 18 years.

We want to make sure every student has the right XL bedding for move-in. Guaranteed to last until graduation, our wide selection of custom-sized linens is certain to fit every bed on campus. In addition, we also provide a variety of other residence hall room must haves, including extra-long comforters, extra-long mattress pads, extra-long thermal blankets, pillows, storage solutions and anything else you will need. Click here to place your order!

Loft Kits

The University no longer sells Loft Kits from the bookstore. If you are still looking to raise your bed, we would encourage purchasing a bed riser from a local store, online OR building your own. Please contact Housing and Residence Education if you have questions on how to do this.
