Graduation and Commencement
What is the difference between Graduation and Commencement?
Graduation is the official date that all degree and graduation requirements are met by a student, and your degree is conferred. Graduation occurs at the end of each semester: fall (December), spring (May), and summer (August).
Commencement is a ceremony to celebrate a student’s accomplishments. Our Commencement ceremonies are held twice per academic year in fall (December) and spring (May). Summer graduates are invited to attendfall Commencement.
