Concert Choir is the premier choral ensemble at Gardner-Webb University. This auditioned ensemble of mixed voices is open to all students regardless of major.

The Concert Choir (MUSC 370) meets 4 times per week, offers several performances a semester, takes a Spring tour every year and an international tour every few years. Recent travel includes tours of North Carolina (2022) and Washington, D.C. (2019). The group has performed internationally in Africa, Asia, and Europe as well as by invitation for the NC Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. Concert Choir is directed by Dr. Joshua Cheney.

Enrollment in Concert Choir is by audition only. Open auditions are held in August, December, January, and April of a given academic year. Non-music major members of Concert Choir receive a scholarship of $1,500.00 per year. Please contact Dr. Cheney for more information.
