Apartment Building B

Graduate student housing will be first come first serve. Students opting into on campus housing will be subject to Residential fees and charges. All students living on campus must abide by all Gardner-Webb University policies as stated in the Student Handbook.

Description

Housing in Apartment B is available for students 21 and older. You must already be fully admitted/accepted to a Gardner-Webb masters, doctoral or professional study program to apply for Graduate Student Housing.

These will be 4-bedroom apartments for single graduate or professional students of the same gender. In the four-bedroom units, each resident occupies his/her own bedroom. They also consist of two bathrooms, living and dining areas, in unit laundry room, and a kitchen equipped with an electric range and 1 full sized refrigerator. 

Furnishings

Each apartment is fully furnished with the following:

Couch or loveseat, chairs, full-sized refrigerator, electric range, dish washer, microwave, Washer and Dryer, full size bed, dresser and desk in each room.

Costs and Fees

Fall and Spring

  • $ 4, 310 per semester (room)
  • Meal Plan – Opt in for students wanting to eat on campus
  • Residential Amenities Fee: $195 per semester
  • Student Activities Fee: $170 per semester
  • Student Health Clinic Fee: $135 per semester – Opt in for students wanting to use the Atrium Student Health clinic
  • Student Parking pass: $150 for Fall and Spring

Summer Housing

  • $520 per session (room)
  • $860 per session (Meal Plan) – Optional
  • Student Health Clinic Fee: $25 per semester – Opt in for students wanting to use the Atrium Student Health Clinic

Amenities Included

  • 24/7 access to University Police.
  • Access to all Student Engagement events.
  • Free Access to the Settle Wellness Center and CrossFit classes.
  • Water, Electric, Trash, WiFi, and Spectrum Cable streaming services are all included in the Residential Amenities fee.
  • Access to on campus Facilities team for any maintenance issues within the apartment.

Continuing Housing Policy

Exceptions will be made for graduate students to live with TUG students that just graduated from Gardner-Webb.

Timelines

Housing applications open and due date:

  • Summer 1: April 3rd – May 17th
  • Summer 2: April 3rd – June 20th
  • Fall: April 3rd – August 14th
